1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Fanni's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Fanni is a home services marketplace that connects users ("buyers") with independent service providers ("sellers" or "technicians") for services such as electrical work, plumbing, AC repair, cleaning, carpentry, and other home-related tasks. Fanni facilitates the connection but is not the employer of service providers and does not guarantee the quality, timing, or outcome of any service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Fanni. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we deem harmful to the community.
5. Use of the Platform
You agree to use Fanni only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or service providers
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to circumvent safety, verification, or payment systems
- Copy, scrape, or misuse content or data from the platform
6. Bookings and Payments
When you book a service, you enter into an agreement directly with the service provider. Pricing, availability, and service details are as displayed at the time of booking. You are responsible for paying for services received in accordance with the agreed terms. Disputes about payment or quality should be reported through the app's support channels.
7. Service Provider Conduct
Service providers on Fanni are independent. They are expected to provide accurate profiles, arrive on time, and deliver services in a professional and safe manner. Fanni may take action, including removal from the platform, against providers who breach these expectations or community standards.
8. Ratings and Reviews
Users may leave ratings and reviews after a service. Reviews must be honest and relevant. False, defamatory, or abusive reviews may be removed, and repeated violations may result in account action.
9. Limitation of Liability
Fanni acts as a marketplace only. We are not liable for the actions, quality of work, or conduct of service providers or users. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any service booked through it. Our total liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Fanni, its affiliates, and their officers and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Fanni after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
